Job summary

Commonwealth Building Materials, Inc. - Glen Allen is seeking a Warehouse Worker to handle maintenance, shipping/receiving, storage, and delivery setup at our Glen Allen location. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, forklift operation, and strict safety and accuracy standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience or more is preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders by processing requests: pull materials and place for customer pick up or delivery; load and unload trucks as necessary.
• Maintain inventory controls and minimize material damage while ensuring order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse, manage bin locations, and uphold high customer service standards; lift up to 50 lbs and wear protective gear and steel-toed boots; operate warehouse machinery.
