Job summary

Capitol Building Supply, Inc. – Marshall, VA is seeking a Warehouse Worker to manage warehouse maintenance, shipping/receiving, and product storage. Forklift experience is a plus.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods, with safety gear and steel-toed boots provided. Base hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.81; overtime and bonus opportunities may apply depending on role and location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; 1–3+ years preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to policy.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy.
• Prepare orders by processing requests: pull materials and place in appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery; load/unload trucks as necessary.
• Maintain inventory controls and organize the warehouse; manage bin locations; ensure order accuracy.
• Operate warehouse machinery and wear protective gear; lift to 50 lbs.; work in various weather conditions.
• Think critically, problem solve and communicate effectively with team and management.
