Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an entry level Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lexington. The role involves operating a stand-up forklift, selecting orders, and preparing shipments. You will use RF technology to manage inventory, ensure accurate receiving and stocking, and keep the facility clean and safe.

Ideal candidates will have up to 3 years in a warehouse setting, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, reliable work ethic. Training is provided to learn our systems and processes.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and accident-free workspace.
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear PPE, including harness when required.
