Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, pick, pack, and distribute materials and products within the warehouse. The role involves moving items from receiving areas to storage, assembling customer orders, and preparing shipments.

Candidates should have 6–12 months of related experience, be able to operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and reach trucks, and have a HS diploma or GED preferred. Knowledge of safety and basic hand tools is valued.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of related experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate sit-down/stand-up forklift and reach truck and become certified.
• Knowledge of order picking, receiving product, and outbound loading/unloading.
• General warehouse safety awareness and ability to use common hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or material requests.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves for packing/shipping.
• Mark materials with identifying information and open containers as needed.
• Record quantities received or distributed and prepare items for shipment.
• Operate forklift to move stored items to packaging/shipping areas.
