Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator - Quality Control (QC)

Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Woodland Cabinets Inc. is the latest addition to our rapidly growing network of nationwide locations, a leading wholesale distributor specializing in kitchen and bath cabinets.

We are now hiring skilled warehouse associates/forklift operators and Quality Control (QC) (This is one position, not two separate hires. The ideal candidate will be trained to perform both warehouse operations and QC inspections, switching between tasks as needed throughout the day, and his role offers clear growth opportunities into Lead, Coordinator, or Supervisor positions for high-performing employees )

Quality Control Responsibilities include:

• Inspect pull-out orders prepared by pickers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Follow the order list and verify that all items and quantities are correct.
• Identify and document any missing items as back orders and notify the coordinator so Customer Service (CSR) can update the customer.
• Label each order according to the appropriate shipping method, such as Local Pickup, Local Delivery, or other applicable methods.
• Take clear photos of all items and pallets from multiple angles before the order is released.
• Upload all required photos to Trello, ensuring they are correctly labeled and associated with the appropriate order.
• For small items, take clear photos showing the contents and quantity inside each box.
• Apply the appropriate color labels and record all required information for each pallet/skid.
• Carefully inspect and verify pallets to prevent quantity errors or miscounts.
• After receiving the pink slips, move each order to its assigned lane.
• Write the assigned lane number on the picking slip and provide it to the coordinator so the location can be updated in the system.
• Ensure completed orders are properly organized, labeled, and easy to locate when customers arrive for pickup.

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include:

• Receive order requests via email and accurately enter new orders into NetSuite.
• Use an RF scanner to support order picking, inventory control, and product verification.
• Assist with unloading, staging, organizing, and other general warehouse operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with warehouse associates, coordinators, and other team members.
• Operate an order picker and forklift as required. Training will be provided; prior experience is not required.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment and adapt to changing priorities, order volumes, and workflow needs.

Starting pay: from $18/hour during probation and $20/hour after probation, based on performance and ratings

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and overtime as needed
