Job description

The Warehouse Order Filler supports our Sacramento Division by accurately selecting, pulling, staging, and preparing customer orders for delivery. This role helps maintain an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse while providing dependable support to customers and coworkers. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with overtime as business needs require.

The successful candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Essential Functions - Primary Duties

• Review customer orders and accurately pick, pull, and stage products in the appropriate delivery bays or designated areas.
• Verify product numbers, quantities, and condition before orders are released for delivery or customer pickup.
• Load and unload freight and customer orders safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, order pickers, electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and stretch wrappers after required training and authorization.
• Communicate order discrepancies, damaged products, substitutions, or inventory concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including aisles, racks, staging areas, and loading areas.
• Follow company safety rules, equipment procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, labeling, and relocating inventory.
• Support cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory accuracy activities.
• Break down and recycle cartons; remove debris and non-recyclable materials.
• Provide backup support for other warehouse functions as business needs require.
• Perform other duties that are related to the role and reasonably assigned.

Secondary Duties

• Internal transfer driver.
• Operatea 26’ box truck, GVW 26,000LBS.
• Deliveries as needed.
• Support cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory accuracy activities.
• Break down and recycle cartons; remove debris and non-recyclable materials.
• Provide backup support for other warehouse functions as business needs require.
• Perform other duties that are related to the role and reasonably assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Clean driving record required.
• Experience driving a box truck or van.
• Valid medical card (if applicable by state/region)
• Must meet company and regulatory driving requirements.
• Reliable, consistent attendance
• Basic reading, writing, math, and measurement skills.
• Ability to read customer orders, product labels, packing documents, and safety instructions.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Professional conduct and effective communication with coworkers, customers, vendors, and drivers.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and contribute to a team.
• Warehouse or distribution experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally handle heavier items up to 100 pounds with team assistance or appropriate equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive material-handling tasks throughout the workday.
• Work is primarily performed in a warehouse and loading-area environment with exposure to seasonal temperature changes, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
