Job summary

California Closets CCO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to unload shipments, inspect items, and prep stock for inventory. The role includes data entry, stocking, and returning damaged pieces as needed.

The position offers a first-shift schedule, a pay range of $21–$24 per hour, and on-the-job training. Lifting up to 50 pounds and light construction exposure are expected components of the job.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout shift and lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification is a plus; warehouse experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away inventory.
• Load product into trucks.
• Sort and organize products.
• Inspect inventory for conformance to standards.
• Operate a forklift to move and store inventory.
• Stage products and manage cycle counts.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

Our Warehouse Associates unload and unpack shipments of custom cabinetry products and hardware, inspect for damage and correct quantities, report damages or shortages, and enter receiving data into our company database. This position will also prepare and organize received stock for inventory, return damaged products to senders, and monitor inventory levels.We will provide paid, on-the-job training to candidates with the right skill set and a great attitude!

***The pay for this position is $21-$24 DOE with a work schedule of Mon-Fri 5a-1:30p***

***Must be able to stand during entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs***

***Light construction experience is a plus***

Qualifications

• Basic math and organization skills
• Inventory management experience
• Ability to work on feet for an entire shift
• Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Experience shipping, receiving, or working in a warehouse is a plus
• Experience working with woodworking machines (saw, router, drill press) is a plus
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
