Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Warehouse Person to safely receive, store, move, and distribute materials in a manufacturing environment. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, load/unload trucks, and support production and shipping while preserving inventory accuracy. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m.

– 2:30 p.m., with overtime as needed; starting pay is $17.50 per hour. Benefits include free employee health insurance, company-paid life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment required.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified upon hire.
• Experience operating a scissor lift preferred (if applicable).
• Comfortable working at elevated heights when job duties require.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate overtime and non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Commitment to safe work practices and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to transport, load, unload, stack, and stage materials.
• Receive, inspect, store, and issue raw materials and finished goods.
• Load and unload trucks while verifying quantities and product condition.
• Supply production lines with materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory by scanning, recording, and documenting material movements.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Operate a scissor lift when required to retrieve or store materials at elevated locations.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
