Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking Permanent Full Time Material Handlers in Hagerstown, Maryland. The role offers weekly pay and a base rate of $21.00 per hour with a $1.50 per hour shift premium, plus robust benefits and opportunities for growth.

Typical duties include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift certification, with a preference for prior warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Flexible schedule with various shifts

Responsibilities

• Load, pick, pack, ship, receive and forklift operation as needed
• Work within contract performance guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing and staging of products; load/unload trucks
• Handle warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Support automated packing system maintenance during shifts
• Performs other duties as assigned
