Daylight Packing in coordination with Next Generation Foods is seeking a Warehouse Associate Forklift Operator.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and adaptable Warehouse Associate Forklift Operator to join our team. This role requires flexibility to work across different locations and tasks, including packaging, inventory organization, loading/unloading trucks, and occasional deliveries or pickups. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented environment, is detail-oriented, and demonstrates tenacity and a commitment to constant learning.

• $22.00 per hour
• Full time hourly position, 40 hours a week Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Job Duties

• Load bags onto the pouch packing machine.
• Inspect packed bags for quality before boxing them.
• Stack packed boxes to build pallets for shipping.
• Pre-production labeling of bags and cases.
• Load and unload trucks at multiple locations, including assisting at NGF as needed.
• Build orders for shipment and ensure accuracy.
• Make deliveries or pickups when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization before and after production runs.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) storage principles when organizing inventory.
• Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality and accuracy.
  
  

Requirements

• Flexibility: Ability to work across multiple locations and assist in different roles as needed.
• Experience: 2+ years of prior warehouse experience required.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for most of the shift.
• Equipment Skills: 2+ years of forklift and pallet jack experience required (forklift certification preferred).
• Team Environment: Must work well with others in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy is critical when packing, inspecting, and building orders.
• PPE Provided: No uniform required, but PPE will be supplied.
