Job summary

Tellworks Logistics in Washington, DC area is seeking a Warehouse Associate with forklift experience to move packages and materials safely and efficiently. You will operate a forklift, load and unload freight, and help maintain accurate inventory in our facilities.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic math, English literacy, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prefer 2-4 years of experience.
• Must read, decode, and decipher freight coding.
• Able to lift, stand, bending, and rotating motions.
• Operate hand truck and forklift.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Must pass any government and company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload inbound and/or outbound freight from trailers/containers.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.

Brief Description

We are looking for warehouse associates with forklift experience with high attention to detail to move packages and materials around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces, and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles.
