Job summary

Utica Specialty Foods LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle inbound and outbound logistics in a small food manufacturing environment. You will receive shipments, verify with POs, maintain logs, and prepare palletized orders with proper paperwork.

The role requires forklift operation, barcode scanning, and familiarity with Fishbowl inventory software. The position emphasizes keeping the warehouse organized, restocking after production, and ensuring accurate picking, packing, and carrier

Qualifications

• Must operate standup forklift and double-reach forklift.
• Familiarity with barcode scanning systems.
• Experience with inventory software Fishbowl.
• Understanding of units of measure (lbs, kg, etc.).
• Experience in food manufacturing encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and verify against open Purchase Orders.
• Maintain shipping and receiving log and prepare palletized outbound orders with required paperwork.
• Pick, pack, and prepare online orders for carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
• Keep warehouse clean and organized; maintain pallet rack barcode system.
• Restock ingredients and packaging after production; pull from warehouse to production floor.
• Standup/double-reach forklift operation required.
• Familiarity with technology and barcode scanning systems.

Small Food Manufacturing company is looking to add a warehouse associate.

The ideal candidates will perform the following tasks:

• Receive Inbound shipment
• Check the inbound shipment with any open Purchase Order to make sure that the product ordered, and quantity ordered match.
• Keep up the shipping and receiving log
• prepare palletized outbound order following the pick ticket (pick, palletized, wrapped and have appropriate paperwork and pallet signs up and ready to go (pallet slip, do not stack sign, BoL etc)
• Pick and pack online orders and have the parcel ready for FedEx, UPS, USPS before their pickup time.
• Maintain the warehouse clean and organized
• Keeping up the pallet rack barcode system
• Using inventory software (fishbowl)
• Pulling ingredients and packaging from the warehouse to the production floor prior to the production date.
• Restocking the warehouse with the ingredients and packaging after a particular production is finished.
• Taking the garbage in the warehouse out.
• Standup, double reach forklift experience is mandatory.
• Must be familiar with technology and barcode scanning system.
• Must understand Unit of Measure (lbs, kg etc)
• Previous experience in food manufacturing is encouraged.
