Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Warehouse Associate to stage, load, and unload finished products and raw materials, while maintaining stock and inventory accuracy. You will ensure proper bin locations and support the manager in inventory management.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid license, forklift certification, and prior warehouse experience, with the ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work well in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience in the construction rental industry.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product is in proper locations, place product in correct bin locations, and assist the manager in assigning locations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times
• Assist with cycle counting throughout the year, maintain proper inventory levels, and notify the appropriate personnel when stock is low
• Load/unload structural components onto/off delivery trucks
• Visually inspect deliveries for damage and verify quantities delivered against the packing slip for accuracy
• Prep and assemble structure components that can be pre-assembled prior to deployment
• Operate a forklift to move heavy equipment and structural components safely and efficiently
• Other duties assigned as needed
