Qualifications

• Must be able to read customer orders, shipping orders, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
• Must be able to count and perform simple arithmetic.
• Must be able to physically move material using forklift or by hand.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
• Maintain good relations with customers picking up material.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, load and move building materials in the warehouse.
• Operate forklift safely to move materials and load trucks.
• Read orders to determine items to move and prepare shipments.
• Count items and verify accuracy of orders.
• Keep work area clean and organized and maintain safety practices.
