Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a motivated Material Handler for our Abilene, TX branch. You will load and unload materials, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and help maintain accurate inventory in a fast-paced environment.

The role is 1st shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) with a base pay of $19.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18, have a HS diploma or GED, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products; operate forklift, overhead crane and tools.
• Complete orders safely, accurately and on time; assist coworkers and customers.
• Inspect materials, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and ERP daily updates.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and move inventory as needed.
• Comply with safety requirements and wear PPE.
