East Coast Metal Distributors, Inc. is seeking a warehouse/ counter sales associate in Richmond, VA. You will greet customers, verify orders, and help prepare shipments.

A HS diploma or GED is required, with prior counter sales, HVAC, and customer service experience preferred. Strong computer skills and MS Office are essential; lifting up to 20 pounds is expected. Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Represent East Coast Metal Distributors with a clean, company-uniform appearance.
• Obtain products for counter sales orders and greet customers.
• Verify items and quantities on pick tickets and transfer requests; notify discrepancies.
• Unload incoming inventory and document arrival; update inventory records.
• Ship orders via LTL, UPS, and company delivery vehicles.
• Submit packing lists for warehouse inventory; integrate shipments.
• Become certified in forklift safety and operate equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager.
