Job summary

East Coast Metal Distributors, Inc. is seeking a delivery/warehouse associate to support branch operations by expediting customer orders and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.

You will verify shipments, document arrivals, and incorporate them into inventory while delivering products to customers in a professional, courteous, and expeditious manner. Responsibilities include scheduling deliveries, processing orders, unloading, and ensuring items and quantities are correct.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• Must be able to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and pass drug screening & background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers in a timely, courteous manner.
• Verify items and quantities; unload trucks and organize delivery schedules.
• Maintain clean delivery vehicle and assist in warehouse tasks as needed.
• Document arrivals, update inventory, and report discrepancies to management.
• Operate and certify forklift safety procedures; use equipment safely at all times.
