GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks a hardworking Warehouse Associate in Elkhart, IN to support receiving, storage, and daily production needs, aiming to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

You will receive shipments, unload and stage stock, operate a scan gun, assist with door configurations, perform cycle counts, maintain safety and cleanliness, and collaborate with supervisors to meet quality and timeliness goals.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Operate forklift and clamp lift preferred.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, package, and store).
• Stage and load trucks for delivery.
• Utilize scan gun to process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Assist with production requirements for switching refrigerator doors from right to left opening.
• Perform inventory counts and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assist with other operations when asked.
