Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, located in Camden, SC, is seeking a Production Associate - Fabrication. You will perform production-type functions, operate tools, and assemble components into finished units.

You will follow safety rules, participate in quality checks, and be part of a climate-controlled facility with a focus on 5S and efficiency.

This hands-on role requires flexibility for overtime and physical tasks such as lifting 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Understand and carry out detailed oral or written instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Stand for extended hours.
• Walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must regularly lift and/or move 10-20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs any production-type functions required
• Uses hand and/or power tools to perform production operations
• May perform packing and/or unpacking functions
• May operate automated equipment to perform production functions
• Cross-checks quality and/or performs quality checks at their workstation
• Performs production functions in a timely manner
• Maintain work safety
• Any other duties as assigned.
