Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Elkhart, IN. You will receive, store, and process stock from shipments, stage loads for delivery, and support production needs. You will use a scan gun for orders, perform counts, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse while communicating with supervisors.

Ideal candidates have proven warehouse experience, shipping/receiving know-how, and the ability to lift up to 90 lbs. Forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift and clamp lift experience or operation preferred.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process warehouse stock (unload, package, store).
• Stage and load trucks for delivery.
• Process incoming/outgoing orders with scan gun.
• Assist with production needs for door configuration changes.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain quality standards for audits.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and optimize space utilization.
• Report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
• Follow procedures, rules and safety regulations.
• Assist with other operations when asked.
