Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Market Street branch in Downtown Louisville. You will accurately pick and prepare orders, read orders, and maintain ERP inventory updates in a team-driven, safety-focused environment.

Ideal candidates enjoy teamwork, customer service, and are reliable with strong communication. This on-site role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation.
• Physical ability to perform various warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy.
• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers.
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders.
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
