Job summary

Piedmont Plastics is seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our Raleigh (Morrisville) team. If you are a motivated warehouse professional with a strong work history, we offer an excellent compensation package and outstanding employee benefits.

In this role you will read orders, move materials, assemble customer orders, pack shipments, and maintain inventory using a computer or barcode scanner. Forklift operation and safe work habits are essential to success.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Experience driving a forklift is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read sales orders to determine items to be picked, packed and/or shipped.
• Convey materials and items from receiving to storage racks or to other designated areas.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyors to packing station.
• Use proper packing techniques for protecting products during shipping per work instructions.
• Utilize computer or barcode scanner to enter records, tack material and control inventory.
• Drive forklift to transport material.
• Maintain general warehouse housekeeping and safe work habits.
