Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the Charlotte, NC area on a 1st shift, contract-to-hire basis. The role pays $18/hr and requires the ability to lift 50–60 lb, operate barcode scanners, and handle repetitive, detail‑oriented tasks in a fully on-site warehouse environment.

You will receive training on pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and safety procedures while supporting inbound/outbound shipments, data entry, and inventory control to meet daily productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates.
• Capable of lifting 50–60 lb repeatedly with proper technique.
• Comfortable with repetitive, detail‑oriented tasks and meeting productivity goals.
• Willingness to be trained on pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and safety rules.
• Able to operate bar code scanners and multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound freight accurately and verify against orders.
• Process and ship outbound orders; pick, pack, and prepare shipments.
• Use bar code scanners and stations to ensure order accuracy and labeling.
• Perform light assembly and material handling tasks as needed.
• Load/unload materials safely; lift 50–60 lb and use team lifts as required.
• Maintain inventory through data entry and cycle counts; report discrepancies.
