Job summary

Baker Distributing Company is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced HVAC distribution team. You will help with picking and verifying orders, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining accurate inventory across our warehouse and sales center.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and work safely in a busy environment. Prior warehouse experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse and/or forklift experience desired.
• Appliance lift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver’s License
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English to ensure safety policies

Responsibilities

• Pick and verify orders for customers.
• Conduct Quality Inspections to ensure accuracy of received, picked and shipped items.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery to customers and/or other centers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Maintain daily truck and forklift maintenance checklist.
• Assist management with inventory counts and warehouse upkeep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
