Job summary

SRS Building Products - Kapaa, HI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, stocking, and distributing materials to support customer needs. You will log, count, and unload shipments, load outgoing orders, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Strong candidates will have forklift certification, experience in high-volume distribution, familiarity with inventory software and Excel, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift Operator certification.
• Experience in high-volume distribution environments.
• Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Bilingual in Spanish or another secondary language.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety.
• Conducted safety audits and training sessions.
• Adaptable to changing environments and challenges.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and math for inventory counts.
• Effective time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, verify, and unload incoming orders and shipments.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks and customer vehicles with accurate documentation.
• Keep warehouse, yard, and office areas clean and safe.
• Manage inventory with routine stock rotations and discrepancy reporting.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a cooperative, productive work environment.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely per guidelines.
