SRS Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Kapaa, HI to manage receiving, stocking, and distributing materials in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will operate forklifts, log shipments, maintain safety, assist inventory control, and collaborate with the team to meet delivery timelines. Starting hourly wage ranges from $20 to $24, with overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification and familiarity with warehouse safety.
• Experience in high-volume distribution environments.
• Proficient with inventory software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Spanish or another secondary language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, verify, and unload incoming orders; log and store materials per company standards.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks; ensure correct product handling and delivery timelines.
• Maintain organized warehouse and yard; perform general upkeep and safety practices.
• Manage inventory by distributing materials to storage areas and rotating stock; report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with teammates to foster a cooperative, productive environment; support safety and efficiency.
• Operate forklifts and other handling equipment safely per guidelines.

Position Purpose

The purpose of the Warehouse role at SRS Building Products is to manage the receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials, equipment, and products within the warehouse and branch settings to effectively serve our business customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive, count, verify, and manually unload incoming orders and shipments, ensuring all materials are accurately logged and stored in compliance with company standards.
• Execute accurate and timely loading of outgoing orders onto trucks and customer vehicles, guaranteeing correct product handling, documentation, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, including general yard and office maintenance, while upholding workplace safety and operational excellence.
• Manage inventory effectively by distributing materials to designated storage areas, conducting regular stock rotations, and reporting any discrepancies or damaged products for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a cooperative and productive work environment, embodying the company's "team-first" attitude and contributing to a culture of mutual success.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently, following all operational guidelines to support seamless warehouse logistics and distribution functions.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

This role combines physical and office tasks in a warehouse. Responsibilities include lifting/moving up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Operator certification.
• Experience in high-volume distribution environments.

Salary

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
