Job summary

SRS Building Products in Eugene, OR is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials within the warehouse and branch settings. You will ensure accurate inventory handling, safety compliance, and exceptional customer service while working in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include logging shipments, loading orders, organizing the warehouse, and using forklifts and inventory systems to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent English communication; strong customer service.
• Basic computer skills and math for inventory counts.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive, count, verify, and unload incoming orders and shipments, logging and storing materials per standards.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks and customer vehicles, ensuring correct handling and documentation.
• Maintain an organized warehouse and yard; uphold safety and operational standards.
• Distribute materials to storage areas; perform regular stock rotations; report discrepancies or damaged products.
• Provide exceptional customer service using knowledge of products and services to aid customers and teammates.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a cooperative work environment with a team-first attitude.
• Prioritize tasks with strong time management to meet deadlines and support operations.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely following all guidelines.
