Job summary

Restaurant City in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Warehouse Associate to keep product moving—picking orders, unloading trailers, stocking shelves, and displaying items in the showroom.

The role uses a seated forklift, involves uncrating and assembling equipment, and requires safe, organized work in a fast-paced setting. Full-time or part-time options available with overtime and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older (required for forklift operation).
• Seated forklift experience strongly preferred — all operators are certified on our equipment before running it.
• Warehouse, distribution, or equipment-handling experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret labels, product descriptions, and order paperwork.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently once you know the routine.
• Familiarity with restaurant equipment is a plus.
• Prior experience with a wholesale equipment distributor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stow and organize product and unload/load trailers.
• Uncrate and assemble equipment; stage for delivery and showroom display.
• Pick and pack orders for customer pickup and delivery.
• Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory.
• Operate a seated forklift to move pallets throughout the warehouse.
• Break down crates, manage trash and recycling, keep areas clean and safe.
• Take on ad hoc projects as they come up and assist with deliveries or inventory counts.
