Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role involves receiving products, verifying quantities and descriptions, and assembling orders for shipment, while maintaining accurate inventories.

Qualifications

• Experience in large food warehouse preferred.
• Excellent work ethic
• Able to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
• Able to maintain a fast pace and multi-task
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders and maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and AVI policies.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns).
