SRS Building Products in Tampa, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, stocking, and distributing materials for branch operations.

You will unload shipments, log items, load orders, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse while managing inventory with accuracy. Proficiency in Excel and inventory software is valued, along with a team-first attitude and flexibility for peak periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift Operator certification.
• Experience in high-volume distribution environments.
• Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiar with industry-specific software applications.
• Proficient in Spanish or another secondary language.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety.
• Conducted safety audits and training sessions.
• Adaptable to changing environments and challenges.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and math for inventory counts.
• Effective time management and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, verify, and unload incoming orders and shipments.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks with accurate documentation and timing.
• Maintain organized warehouse and yard; uphold safety and cleanliness.
• Distribute materials to storage areas and rotate stock; report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team to foster a cooperative work environment and achieve mutual success.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
