Hourly Rate: $19.50

1st Shift

Responsibilities:

• Uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products;
• Operates manual or electric carts in order to fill orders;
• From the receiving area, scan and count items and load on cart;
• Stock items appropriately by location and quantity;
• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves;
• Check off merchandise as received;
• Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet;
• Assist in pulling parts during busy times;
• Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders;
• Miscellaneous projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience operating power industrial equipment;
• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal;
• Understanding Map Locations;
• Sorting by alpha or numeric;
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements;
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment;
• Attention to detail;
• Great communication skills;
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs;
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach;
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance;
• May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes;
• May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways;
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus;
• Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors;
• Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime;
• 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred;
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse;
• Maintain and promote workplace safety;
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
