Border States in Chantilly, VA, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. You will receive freight, inspect for damages, and route items to correct stock locations while preparing orders for delivery.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely communication with carriers and internal teams. Applicants should have 2 years of warehouse experience, forklift familiarity, and basic SAP and Windows proficiency. This is an in-person, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is also preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• PC working knowledge for Windows, internet, email and SAP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks the material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Coordinates deliveries with company trucks or carriers based on requests.
• Checks and packs material to be delivered.
• Maintains inventory stock locations and keeps shelves neat and orderly.
