Job summary

Insco Distributing, Inc. in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Driver / Warehouse Associate to transport and deliver HVAC products and related materials to customers and Insco locations. You will also support branch operations with loading/unloading, stock handling, and counter sales.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and adaptability to a fast-paced retail/warehouse environment. Prior HVAC exposure is a plus; GED or high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Summary: Operates commercial vehicle to transport and deliver heating and air conditioning products parts, and other materials to customers or Insco locations. Will also be responsible for performing warehouse and counter sales duties at the branch.

Job Title: Driver / Warehouse Associate

Reports to: Branch Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsibly transports and loads/unloads items to a customer’s job site, place of business, or other assigned destination
• Build strong relationships with the customers to ensure that we continue to deliver outstanding customer experience
• Inspect truck pre and post trip to ensure everything, including emergency, mechanical and safety gear, is in working order
• Performs required minor maintenance and keeps the vehicle clean
• Obtain and maintain necessary documentation such as proof of delivery/pick up, driver logs, truck condition forms, maintenance logs, etc.
• Collects/picks up empty containers or rejected/unsold merchandise
• Assist with branch operations such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock, cycle counts/inventory, etc.
• Supports the branch with counter sales support
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, reach, twist, stretch, kneel, squat, crouch, crawl, push, pull, and move about the facility for the entirety of the shift.
• Regularly talk, hear, read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material, payment processing

• Location of position: San Antonio, Texas

• Work will generally be performed in a retail work & warehouse environment.
• May be exposed to Warehouse/Shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.
