Job summary

Filter Services Inc./Mission Filtration seeks a Warehouse Team Member for our Indianapolis, IN location. You will handle order picking, verification, general warehouse support, and assist in delivery and various technical tasks.

Travel up to 3 days per week to customer sites for inventory checks and support; perform receiving, stocking, and shipment prep in a team setting. Maintain safety and accuracy in paperwork and vehicle upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year warehousing experience.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipment preparation.
• Serve as a customer-facing representative when needed.
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks; follow safety procedures.
• Deliver products to internal/external customers when required.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and routine maintenance.

Team & Position Description:

We are seeking a versatile warehouse team member for our Indianapolis, IN location, to handle tasks including selecting and organizing customer orders, verifying and cross-referencing all orders prepared for delivery, providing general support in the warehouse, and engaging in delivery and various technical activities.

What you’ll do day to day:

• Serve as a customer-facing representative, building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
• Travel up to 3 days per week, up to 1-2, to customer sites for inventory checks and support.
• Perform receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipment preparation in a team-oriented warehouse environment, including overtime as needed to meet daily/weekly goals.
• Deliver product to internal and external customers driving a "straight" truck or van as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, and dollies, to move products efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a safe and legal driving record while operating company vehicles responsibly.
• Follow all company and job-specific procedures, including proper loading/unloading of trucks and vans.
• Engage in light production and assembly tasks as needed.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure cleanliness and perform routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Must have good verbal and written skills
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of warehousing experience
• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday
• Capability to handle boxes and tools
• Proficiency in reaching with hands and arms
• Occasional requirement to climb stairs or ladders
• Regular lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds
• Using a hand truck, the employee must regularly push and pull loads ranging from 180 to 250 pounds
• Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions while performing job duties
• Moderate to loud noise levels in the work environment, with occasional instances of loud noise
