Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for local deliveries and shipments.
• Process, pick, pack and ship orders accurately.
• Load/unload trucks and vendors.
• Inspect items for defects and report issues.
• Restock inventory and maintain orderliness.
• Make deliveries in and around Houston.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and harmonious work environment.

As a Warehouse Associate / Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by performing various warehouse duties, including pulling orders and safely loading, unloading, and receiving materials, as well as being customer-facing when making deliveries as needed. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing orders for local deliveries, ground and freight shipments
• Processing, picking, packing and shipping orders accurately
• Loading/unloading trucks; company trucks and vendors
• Inspecting items for defects and reporting as required
• Restocking and maintaining an inventory of orders as needed
• Making deliveries in and around Houston
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Maintaining a harmonious work environment
• Communicating and cooperating with Co-workers, supervisors, customers and vendors
• Following all company policies and warehouse / driver procedures and safety measures
• Driving Commercial Truck for pick-ups and deliveries as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of experience in a relevant warehouse setting preferred
• Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks
• Experience driving large trucks preferred (26 foot)
• Basic experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to follow directions while working in groups or independently with excellent attention to detail
• Able to move up to 75 pounds and handle weight while on MHE
• Have a great attitude and willingness to be a team player
• Able and wiling to learn new computer systems pertaining to receiving, inventory and other warehouse functions
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
• Basic math skills and must speak, read and write English
• Physical stamina and dexterity for the work involving lifting and moving heavy loads
• Driver's license with an excellent driving record, CDL preferred
