Empire Today in Tampa, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Distribution Center. You will perform daily warehouse tasks safely and efficiently, including loading/unloading, receiving shipments, cycle counts, and staging goods.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior warehouse experience, and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred. We offer PTO, wellness programs, professional development, and a strong team culture.

Responsibilities

• Daily warehouse work activities, including pre- and post-loadout preparation and activities.
• Receive/unload shipments and verify for accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Pick, cut, and stage goods as needed.
• Daily building cleanup and maintenance.
• Conduct regular warehouse audits to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Operate forklift and/or other warehouse machinery (certification may be required).
• Complete payroll-related documentation and training requirements.

Compensation Information:
$19/hour

Responsibilities:

• Daily warehouse work activities, including (but not limited to):
  • Daily pre- and post-loadout preparation and activities.
  • Receive/unload shipments and verify for accuracy.
  • Cycle counts.
  • Picking/cutting/staging goods as needed.
  • Daily building cleanup and maintenance.
• Regular warehouse audits to ensure safety and cleanliness of all parts of the warehouse.
• Safely operate forklift and/or other warehouse machinery (requires certification).
• Perform and document machinery safety checks.
• Inventory counts.
• Proper completion of payroll activities.
• Successful and timely completion of all required training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to lift or push 50-75lbs as required.
• Commitment to customer service and maintaining an excellent attendance record.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
