Job summary

Empire Scale Corp. in New York is seeking a reliable Warehouse & Logistics Associate to support all aspects of warehouse operations and logistics, including receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory.

You will coordinate with carriers and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth shipments. The role requires a high school diploma, warehouse/shipping experience, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and proficiency with warehouse software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience.
• Hazmat shipping familiarity preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds regularly.
• Experience operating a motorized forklift is preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately and efficiently
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Manage the movement of customer-owned assets in and out of the facility
• Coordinate shipments with carriers including UPS, FedEx, local couriers, and LTL providers
• Ensure timely and cost-effective shipping solutions
• Maintain accurate inventory records across company facilities
• Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding shipping and receiving matters
• Uphold a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Represent Empire Scale Corp. professionally in all interactions

The Warehouse & Logistics Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations and logistics. This role ensures the accurate handling, storage, and distribution of inventory, while coordinating with carriers and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
