Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring a Warehouse Operations associate in New York. This role involves a mix of manual and automated tasks for receiving, storing, and shipping products, ensuring efficient flow to customers.

Typical schedule is Tue–Fri 7:00am–4:00pm and Sat 6:00am–12:00pm. Pay is $18.00 per hour, with benefits including health, vision, dental, 401k, PTO, vacation, and STD/LTD. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of warehouse/distribution center experience preferred.
• Automated or RF warehouse experience beneficial.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (pallet jacks, cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).
• Ability to work standing for long periods with frequent bending.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fluent in English; read/write preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating pallets, packing, loading and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as assigned.
• Receive large boxes on dock, scan product with RF scanner, and input data into computer.
• Break down cases and operate equipment to replenish warehouse.
• Utilize voice-pick system to pick large items with handling equipment.
• Palletize large items for shipment and pack small items.
• Drive material handling equipment as required by the job.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with EH&S requirements.
