Job summary

Hillyard, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Team Member to join our Columbia, MO operations team. This role focuses on ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and are safety-minded. The position offers a Monday–Friday day shift, team orientation, and opportunities for growth within a family-owned company with 100+ years of operation.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Experience with pick, pack, and ship processes is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented with good communication.
• Basic computer skills including email.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Prepare LTL and small parcel shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Safely operate battery-powered material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory while helping keep the warehouse organized and clean.
• Work closely with teammates to meet daily shipping goals.
• Use basic computer systems and email to support warehouse operations.
