Job summary

Hillyard, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Team Member to join our Columbia-based Operations team. In this full-time role, you will help ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders, support inventory control, and keep a clean, organized warehouse environment.

You’ll work with a dependable, safety-minded team to meet daily shipping goals, operate basic material handling equipment, and use computer systems to support warehouse operations. High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping and receiving, or order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Experience with pick, pack, and ship processes is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including email.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Prepare LTL and small parcel shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Safely operate battery-powered material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory while helping keep the warehouse organized and clean.
• Work closely with teammates to meet daily shipping goals.
• Use basic computer systems and email to support warehouse operations.
