Job summary

Hörmann is hiring for a Warehouse position in a fast-paced facility. The role involves collecting and sorting product for customer orders, preparing them for shipping, and potentially pulling from inventory or delivering production materials.

You will load/unload, inspect for damage, verify counts, and maintain a safe, organized work area. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and more than 50 lbs using a team-lift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Sort / stack product accurately by type and size.
• Stack products to/from pallets for shipping.
• Load and unload product manually.
• Examine products for damage and verify counts for accuracy.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Package product as needed.
• Follow established standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
