Job summary

California Closets is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Richmond, CA to support all warehouse operations for custom closet systems. You will prepare materials, manage inventory, assemble products, stage shipments, and assist installation teams while maintaining a safe, clean warehouse.

The role requires experience with chop saws, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and a willingness to work 5am–2pm, Monday to Friday. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401K, and room for growth.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Experience operating a chop saw is required.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Willingness to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cut pole and rail materials using a chop saw per production specs.
• Unpack, organize, and inspect pallets from the manufacturing center.
• Build drawer boxes and other closet components as needed.
• Receive, sort, and store inventory.
• Load products and materials into delivery trucks.
• Stage products for installation and delivery.
• Perform quarterly inventory counts and inventory control.
• Operate a forklift to move and store inventory; forklift cert is preferred.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; assist teammates as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
