Job summary

California Closets in Glen Allen, VA is seeking an Associate, Warehouse-Receiving to join a fast-growing, elite-brand team. Based on provided designs and components, you will manage receiving, storage, and prep of materials for design, fabrication, and installation projects.

You will perform skilled carpentry and material handling using hand and power tools, with training provided. This role offers full-time hours, day shift, with overtime and opportunities for bonus and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High School diploma.
• Entry level; 2 to 4 years experience; Must have completed Helper and Apprentice Certification at the discretion of Install Manager and/or General Manager.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Trade or vocational school experience desirable.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills and/or experience installing offices to furniture quality level finishes.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems.
• Utilize CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems.
• Helper and Apprentice level proficiency with product installation procedures.
• Install Locking Corner Shelves.
• Install and adjust hampers, fillers and scribe mold.
• Install and adjust doors and drawer stacks and wall systems.
• Install basic countertops, islands and trim.
• Drive to site and maintain company vehicles.
