Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Operations role in Kansas City, MO. You will receive and fulfill orders, perform picking, packing and shipping, and support inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a 1st shift schedule, 40 hours weekly, with 4 ten-hour days and a late start window. Overtime may be required; training on equipment may be provided to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or POS systems, a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English reading and writing to process documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain a safe environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, cherry picker).
