Job summary

Cardinal Health in Leawood, KS is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support outbound activities and inbound receiving, ensuring quality, safety and productivity standards. The role operates Monday–Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM or until completion of work, with a typical shift powered by a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, picking and packing orders, and using WMS while operating various material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• PIT experience preferred.
• RF scanner/voice-pick experience preferred.
• Overtime with little advance notice required.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate areas.
• English reading/writing proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, packing, and shipment prep.
• Follow direction and adapt priorities.
• Pick large items with equipment or small items on carts.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas.
• Utilize WMS to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Work on routine assignments with supervision as needed.
• Participate in associate meetings and raise concerns to management.
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear PPE.
