Central Pet Distribution is hiring Warehouse Associates! Day shift Monday through Friday

Do you love pets and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Our growing company is seeking experienced warehouse associates to pull merchandise, complete orders from pick tickets, and load trucks with pet supply products for delivery to pet retailers. Our Pet Distribution team works together to supply our customers with top brands like Nylabone, Kaytee, and Aqueon. If you are dependable, responsible, and committed to safety, this may be the job for you!

Location: Central Pet Distribution Center in Dallas, Texas

Shift Details: 5-day work week, day shift Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or later, with overtime as needed

Measures of Success

• This is a production environment. Associates will have hourly production goals to achieve.
• Process transactions using RF technology and/or identify items on paper pick tickets based on bin location, part number, or description.
• Pick orders scheduled for shipment and package merchandise securely.
• Inspect merchandise to ensure quality.
• Verify counts of all shipments against invoices and records.
• Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items.
• Utilize pallet jacks, stand-up reach forklifts, and sit-down forklifts as applicable.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

• Warehouse professionals with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Proven ability to meet hourly production rates.
• Focus on delivering high-quality products to customers.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math in English.
• Forklift and RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds safely.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Work in a vigilant and safe manner.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a warehouse with temperature variations depending on the season.
