Job summary

HOM Furniture in Oakdale, MN is hiring Warehouse Associates/Customer Pickup Techs to serve customers by pulling, loading, and ensuring transfers are completed efficiently. No experience needed; training provided.

You will disassemble and prep products for pickup, transfers, and showroom displays, interact with customers and coworkers, and assist the Operations Manager, Showroom Manager, and Merchandisers. Full-time benefits apply.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 150 pounds (team lifts up to 300 pounds).
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Pay and Schedule

• $16-18 an hour
• Tuesday and Friday 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Wednesday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Requirements

Experience: No experience necessary. Job training will be provided.

Physical Demands: High physical demands can be required. The employee is regularly required to stand for sustained periods of time. The employee can be expected to lift, push, and pull up to 150 pounds individually and up to 300 pounds as a part of a team. Occasionally, The employee will be required to ascend and descend ladders and stairs in a safe manner. May be required to work safely from heights when necessary. The employee must adhere to safe lifting techniques, follow proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participate in the departmental stretching program, and maintain an overall safe working environment.
