Job description

Role

Responsible for efficiently delivering food, beverage, and other products to our six vessels and Pier side café while maintaining health, safety, and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment. Loading product for both sightseeing cruises and private events.

Essential Functions

• Follow assignments from Warehouse Leadership for picking and delivering food, beverages, and other products to stock concessions areas in a timely manner.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
• Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory using our digital inventory system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning around concessions areas.
• Identify and address deficiencies in inventory or supplies.
• Assist with moving equipment and furniture as required for special events.
• Deliver items to all levels of vessels.
• Support onboard operations during special events as needed.
• Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies, procedures, and training.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to promote and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work onboard a moving vessel for extended periods of time.
• Strong communication skills with ability to understand and relay written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisors.
• Ability to stand, walk, and navigate stairs and ramps for prolonged periods.
• Ability to load and unload product up to 50 pounds and push heavy carts.
• Ability to work in an environment that may include exposure to loud noise, crowded spaces, and variable temperatures.
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.

Compensation

$17.00/hour
