Job summary

Legends Global is seeking personnel to efficiently deliver food, beverage, and products to six vessels and a pier-side café, while upholding health, safety, and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced setting. You will load products for sightseeing cruises and private events.

Responsibilities include managing warehouse staff, processing inventory, and assisting with event logistics, all while maintaining safety and organization within a dynamic, onsite environment in New York.

THE ROLE

Responsible for efficiently delivering food, beverage, and other products to our six vessels and Pier side café while maintaining health, safety, and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment. You will be loading products for both sightseeing cruises and private events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Directly manage the warehouse associates and assist them with the warehouse duties.
• Assist the warehouse team with picking and delivering food, beverages, and other products to stock concessions areas in a timely manner.
• Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory using our digital inventory system.
• Enter requisition forms to request inventory from warehouse team.
• Ability to work in an environment may include exposure to loud noise, crowded spaces, and variable temperatures.
• Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning around concessions areas.
• Identify and address deficiencies in inventory or supplies.
• Assist with moving equipment and furniture as required for special events.
• Support onboard operations during special events as needed.
• Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies, procedures, and training.

QUALIFICATIONS

• To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels.
• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to promote and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work onboard of a moving vessel for extended periods of time.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and relay written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisors.
• This role requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, and navigating stairs and ramps, loading and unloading product up to 50 pounds, pushing heavy carts with or without accommodation.
• Ability to work in an environment that may include exposure to loud noise, crowded spaces, and variable temperatures.
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

COMPENSATION

$20.00/hour
