Job summary

Preform Solutions, Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a driven Shipping/ Receiving team member to stage loads in the evening and assist with trailer movements using a semi truck and trailer. A Class A CDL Driver is required and a medical card is preferred.

You will pick, pull, and stage finished goods, verify items with a PO Sheet, operate a forklift, and communicate dock information to truckers waiting to load/unload.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL.
• Must have a medical card or be willing to obtain one by start date.
• Forklift experience required.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn/complete driving and non-driving duties on a regular basis.
• Team player--a positive can-do attitude is a must in this role.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and stage finished goods for next day shipping.
• Verify items and quantities using a PO Sheet.
• Assist in safely transporting materials between company warehouse locations (locally).
• Load materials for transport, and unload materials, using forklift.
• Ensure product is unloaded timely and placed in Warehouse in an organized manner.
• Hook, move, and drop trailers in company parking lot.
• Communicate dock information to truckers waiting to load/unload product.

Preform Solutions, Inc. located in Sioux Falls, SD is a local, trusted, manufacturer of plastic products for the packaging industry, with over 20 years in Sioux Falls.

Preform Solutions, Inc. is looking for someone to join our Shipping/Receiving team to stage loads in the evening. This role may also be moving trailers and moving production supplies using a semi truck and trailer. AClass-A CDL Driveris required. Ideal candidates will have a great driving record and be self-directed.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED

Schedule

Hours are Monday-Friday 5pm-1:30a; Can be some negotiation in hours.
There may be a need to help fill in on dayshift at times (8am-4:30pm).

Compensation

Starting rate is $24/hour. Hours 7pm-1:30am would qualify for 50¢ shift differential.
